The 928 Leather Shop specializes in the restoration of dashboards and leather interior work for the Porsche 928 and 944. We also restore and recover consoles, instrument pods, seats and most all other interior trim for your Porsche 911, 996, 993, 930, 924, 968, 951 or Boxster. While we specialize in Porsche, we also do convertible tops, vinyl tops, and custom interiors for virtually any vehicle.
We can install all our leather and vinyl covers and or provide individual covers or sets of covers for the do it yourselfer.
Using Porsche spec leather and vinyl, each cover is hand made by professional leather craftsmen with over 25 years of experience designing and installing leather automotive interiors.
In addition to our interior products and services The 928 Leather Shop offers a line of specialty products for Porsche and several other marques.
While many of our clients select genuine Porsche specification leather and vinyl material and colors, we also offer Alcantara Ultrasuede, domestic leather and vinyl, or any material and color of your choice. Contrasting seam colors are also available to enhance the look and fine workmanship of the stitching.

Who We Are
I've been a car guy all my life(56 years). Over the years I've owned and restored many vehicles including 3 Porsche 928s, several Triumph TR6s, a few Spitfires, and MGBs, an MG TD , Alfa Romeo Spider, several Mazda RX7s, and a few American muscle cars including a 67 Camaro RS, 66 Buick Gran Sport, 67 Chevelle Malibu, 66 Pontiac GTO, and a 1950 Ford. I recovered my first Porsche 928 leather dash in 1986. Since then I have recovered several dozen 928 and 944 dashboards.
I work with two experienced "trimmers" who handle all the leather cutting, sewing and finishing.
Remon is an interior engineer and leather craftsman with over 20 years experience designing and fabricating interiors for Lear Corporation. After striking out on his own several years ago, Remon was called upon by Jay Leno and Lear Corp to travel to LA to help design and fabricate the interior on two of Jay Leno's collector cars.
Pete is a retired leather craftsman having spent 30 years with Ford Motor Company working exclusively with leather interiors.
